Falling Star

I could wish on a falling star
But those dreams they seem so far
And when a dream is still unreal
It lives inside for you to feel
The darkened shadows lurk behind
Like dreams that the light can’t find
The dreams inside may swell or go
And rarely do we let them show
But do wishes really come true
And when they do they seem so few
I could wish on a falling star
But those dreams just seem so far
